Founded in 1967, the mission of HRBC is to support public policy, elected officials and candidates for elected office that promote the organization’s core values of limited government, free-market capitalism, and private property rights.
Known as Houston’s premier business coalition, HRBC hosts public forums which allow elected officials and candidates to learn more about the businesses we represent and to share their message.
The Houston Region Business Coalition generally meets monthly at the Junior League, 1811 Briar Oaks Lane, Houston, Texas. HRBC prides itself on the quality of speakers and networking.
Membership and Trustees are comprised of leaders across numerous industries in the Houston region because our organization gives members a unique opportunity to build relationships with some of the best and brightest business-minded individuals in the world. Comprised of these community leaders, HRBC is committed to affecting positive change and making a difference in the Houston region. The organization supports candidates that promote its core values and thus fosters long standing relationships with our elected officials who align with our mission.
A few past speakers include U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, U.S. Senator John Cornyn, Congressman Dan Crenshaw, Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Senator Joan Huffman, City of Houston Mayor, and many more local elected officials.
The normal price for a guest to attend a monthly event is $99. Sponsorships and annual memberships are also available.
Attendance is dependent on the monthly speaker. The HRBC monthly events average between 150-250 guests.
